Fauna enabled destroys the Main Thread and causes huge fps loss


ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Started after patch 3

Happens with or without TAA/FSR, Frame Gen enabled.

Fauna at great distances is causing some disruption in the simulator. To reproduce it, you need to look for field grazing where the bulls and cows are generated and they cannot be too close to your aircraft. For some reason, the frozen animations are causing this MASSIVE loss of FPS.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Fly in any area and enter free camera or drone mode.

  2. Look at the horizon. When your FPS drops, follow that direction, preferably looking more at the ground than at the horizon itself. The thermometer is the FPS.

  3. At some point you will encounter a group of fauna animals. See the difference when near or zoom. Disable fauna and see the difference.

Note: The simulator seems to generate these animals randomly so it is possible that they do not return to the position they were in if you enable fauna again.

YES. ENABLED TO SHOW HOW MAIN THREAD IS AFFECTED. DEVELOPER MODE DOES NOT INFLUENCE THIS BUG.
