FBW A320 in VR - Mouse controls and Managed Mode pulling/pushing issue

I’m trying to learn the FBW A320 in VR. It’s pretty awesome. But I struggle to push and pull speed, heading and altitude knobs to switch to managed and selected mode. But for the life of me, can’t get them to push and pull. Only twist to change values. I can’t seem to get them to go into that dot mode.

Any idea how to do this? I’ve tried middle click. Right click just zooms. And left click doesn’t to much.

Maybe it’s because the FBW is for 2020 still? If I bought the Fenix - would mouse interaction of controls improve? The mouse seems to hover quite far above buttons in the FBW in VR in 2024. It’s quite hard to click some buttons.

FBW A320 was my first go at airliner flying in MSF2020. Moved on to other aircraft now but when I recently tried it in MSFS2024 it just wasn’t working well at all. I don’t think FBW have optimised it yet for 2024, there’s no mention of it in their extensive notes.

Don’t know about the Fenix but if they say it’s optimised for MSFS2024 then it should be okay. You could use the default airbus (A321?), all its controls etc will be the same.
