Still I have a issue Radio Panel baack when input Crt+ 5 or 6,
and weird float up right just before touch down.
fbw mcdu is wacked out…started after v6 update last week. 1st it freezes when i put in my star and can’t get to fltpln but i can go everywhere else. tried deleating & reinstalling
now its even worse…any help would be appreciated
I just made a flight this morning. The mcdu worked fine. Not sure what problem you’re having but more information is needed. What mods do you have installed?
Mods: FBW a32nx, tbm930 & the rest are liveries. My problem began when 2 seperate things were going on. 1st - Navigraph took over Simbreif. I usually download fltpln from Simbreif in FBW - MCDU. 2nd - MSFS2020 had a major upgrade. my problem was when i tried to put a “star” in fltpln the MCDU froze & couldn’t leave the star imput page. This is what I did to fix it & i know this sounds weird but i uninstalled Navigraph & deleated Navigraph chart file frm Community folder. reinstalled Navigraph again…smae problem. So lost for ideas i reinstalled the whole navigraph program in the Community folder and it now works after 4 flights. I forgot to mention I have some of the sim on “C” drive and Community folder on “D” drive. Also it was the first time navigrah found the sim during installation. Conclusion; I think Navigraph screwed somthing up when they took over Simbreif…just my guess!
Nope Navigraph didn’t change anything. Try using the default livery and see if that fixes the problem. Some liveries are incompatible with the A32nx mod.
did so prior to this issue, using the new livery mod feature in FBW installer & Flyto.com using compatibles FBW liveries. As i mentioned no further problems as i noted above, just can’t rationalize why it worked.
Could someone tell me how to create a livery folder in the Community folder & put my FBW 32NX Liveries. Its probably the name i give the folder but msfs2020 doesnt recognize it. it would be nice to catagorize some of the files in community folder as its looking messy. thx
Yeah, you can do that, but you need to do a bit of maintenance. What I usually do with my livery mods is that I have 1 livery mod folder in community.
Inside that Livery mod, I have SimObjects, Layout.Json, and Manifest.Json.
Under SimObjects I have AirPlanes folder.
Inside the AirPlanes folder, that’s where I have each of my Liveries are located. Put everything in there.
Then use the MSFSLayoutGenerator tool to update the Layout.json file so the liveries can be loaded by the sim.
But this is off topic, I think you should raise this into a separate topic. Maybe under SDK discussion, and a lot of knowledgeable people in SDK might help you with a little more detail. I got mine to work perfectly, but I’m really unsure how I can explain it in detail.
thx, great information! will check-out SDK forum on how to compile your instructions
Could you please modify the title since we have established that there is no problem with the A320NX mod?
