I’m trying to learn the FBW a320. I’ve watched video tutorials.
However, after I create/generate a Simbrief plan, when I try to import it on the EFB, I get a message that it is an “invalid aircraft type”. But I check the Simbrief plan and it shows a320 in the Aircraft field.
My Simbrief ID, etc. is all OK and I imported the plan into the sim- I just can’t get the aircraft to import it into the MCDU.
What am I doing wrong?
Can you show a screenshot of the aircraft selection you used in Simbrief? There are multiple A320’s in the list, so you might have accidentally picked a different variant (like the CEO).
OK, good, there’s a solution.
Select the A20N - A320-251N.
That is the NEO. When you select that, in the “Variant or Airframe” drop down box, you will see FlyByWire. Select that and Bob’s your uncle!
