FBWA320 & YourControls

Hey folks - was wondering if anyones used the mod YourControls with the FBW A320. I’ve done a few flights with him doing taking and me doing landing. The issue I have is when I take control back fro him during cruise, the plane wants to bank hard and spiral. I have been able to correct this with opposite full deflection but its quite weird. The first flight we did was flawless, the next 2 seemed to have this weird issue. This last flight it actually caused his sim to ‘crash’ him via the aircraft overstress option we I forgot to have him disable. Anyone else have this issue?

No not this issue, but some others.

  1. When my partner starts the pushback my engines goes off. I have to restart the plane. (A320 FBW)
  2. When airborne the left engine stops.
  3. In The pilot client ATC it does not change the frequencies on my partners side.

Can someone help us.

Your best bet would be to reach out to one or both of the addon makers with this.

Thats odd, I haven’t any of those issues. So far all has been pretty smooth except for this control pass. Are you both on same version of the FBW? (Stable, Dev)? I’ve been using the latest dev version for both pilots and it seems to work ok.

Thank you. Maybe we made a mistake. We placed the airplane on the same airport and same stand. the we conrcted via YourControls. Then the one with „ Have command“ started the engines (ctrl e). Today I saw lighting up the instruments BUT my engines didn‘t start..
Today we started the engines before connecting and everything worked perfect.

Ah ok. I think the keyboard commands are what’s not being sent. If you start the engines via apu (with in cockpit mouse clicks) I wonder if that would make a difference. Also are you using the stock or fbw a320 mod?

We use the fbw a320 mod. So I‘ll try to start the engines next time as you propose and will give you my feedback.

That worked perfectly! We started the A320 as you proposed, without keyboard inputs. Thank you very much.

Awesome - glad I could help!
