Why would the large majority of 2020 users, who have purchased DLC and devices (think the home cockpit crowd) want changes to the architecture of 2020? That makes no sense at all!
@Nikita
Some of the Wishlist items requested for 2020 would probably require some changes to the architecture, IMO.
But also SU is still planned for MSFS 2020, popably between SU3 and SU4 for MSFS 2024

So fall/winter 2025.
no realy because SU3 is planned in june for now …
The Brazil update was originally planned for the end of last year.
Their planning is best described as aspirational.
Because FS2024 have issue, delay some content like Brazil, include WU (one WU of 2025 is push to 2026 …) and Asobo and Microsoft make the decision to push first 3 sim update in first of Half of 2025 instand of 2 for 6 first month and last 2 for second halft of 2025.
Experienced last night GPS jamming at FL360 over the alps. Including “Pull Up, Pull Up”. Great! I was flying the A321. Was that part of the last update?
Probably
CJ4 nav, beacon, and strobe lights are almost non-existent. The livery flickering is fixed!
Second major issue - The primary flight controls (rudder, elevator, and aileron) are way too sensitive. Even when settings are reduced to their maximum limit. I see this issue using one of the most popular joysticks out there, a Logitech EXTREME3DPRO.
Thanks devs for the hard work making this simulator better and better.
Not just a monetization issue but a practical one.
They need to clean up 2024 so that players and developers consolidate their efforts and attention on the new platform. Silly to support and develop for both 2020 and 2024.
I suspect the developers have quietly seen the writing on the wall and moved on — can’t imagine much new being created for 2020 — but the players will wait for better compatibility and usability. Hope we get it soon.
This is what trying to fly at night. Thanks msfs for cataracts graphics.msfs2024 night flight failing users experience
