February 6, 2025 Development Update Blog Discussion

Check out the latest Development Update blog here:

Please use this thread for feedback and discussion. Thank you!

For folks who got the P.180 today and want a quick introduction, I cut this orientation video last night for it.

Also, it should be available now in FS2024 as a Migrated item. I’m stoked to see a product I worked on featured in the Dev Update Blog. :+1:

@SeedyL3205 @Jummivana

Sorry for the ping, why have January 30th Bug Snapshoot in Dev Bug instead of the version of February 6 that was shown during the stream?

Here is screencap from the stream

Any plans to reinstate the wishlist-past 6 months that previous weekly updates had last year alongside the currently shown lifetime one?

MSFS have less 3 month XD

Is the video from 20 or 24?

Hello @Seb851,

We received the latest Feedback Snapshot dated February 06 just a few minutes ago. We’ve updated the blog post now with the latest slides.

Thanks,

Does anyone know anything about this developer? I’ve never heard of them but I am a fan of any WWII bomber aircraft. Given the price I’m guessing it’s not “study-level”.

This is for the Hampden they have in 2020, but may provide some insight for you:

On previous installations of Microsoft Flight Simulator most of the Virtavia developers were active in a studio called “AlphaSim”, maybe you heard that name instead

They have a long history creating military aircraft on an “okay” level - not extremely in depth but enjoyable for the price tag. Textures in general however could be better on their addons.

i may have missed it, but was there anything about fixing getting missions that have unsuitable runways for my aircraft, or a filter of some sort.

Airliners crash when pressing alt-n not even in the top 100 bugs?
It can cause weeks worth of playtime loss if you crash when you’re poor, which is likely. This should be #1. No other bug has even close to the severity and negative impact to player experience. You can literally lose 60 hours of progress with a single use.

Those top 100 bugs were determined by users on this forum voting for issues in the bug reporting section.

I did a quick search of the forum and could not find it. But if it is there, it simply hasn’t received enough votes to make the list.

Maybe not too many of us press Alt-n with airliners. Or it only happens in some circumstances.

Yes, the airplane icon is fixed in some planes, but not in others,

So unless they have an extra fix before SU1 is released, someone needs to change this to “only partially fixed”.

The Asobogate airliner crash at the gate absolutely should be at the top of their list. They even said in the Livestream most people are using career mode, so when the airliners crash at the gates happens it not only stops you from flying and wasting millions in purchasing it, it costs you millions more to repair. This is theft and a tax on career mode :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Devs pls fix Asobogate

Disappointed to see no mention whatsoever of bug fixes in 2020. I thought they were still supposed to be supporting 2020 for years?
