Fenix A320 autopilot with turbulence and weather

Hi everyone,

Recently started to fly the Fenix A320 and it’s amazing!

Only issue is, which could very well be user error or realistic!

I noticed, in sudden wind changes or any turbulence the A/P seems to disengage. I never had this happen in the PMDG 737?

Any idea why this is happening? Sometimes I may not be in the “cockpit” during my flight and I come back to either a crash or way of course.

I know in MSFS 20 weather can be a bit crazy at time but I’m flying out of EIDW (Ireland) and I wouldn’t imagine the turbulence being so extreme to kick my autopilot off?

Any advice or help is appreciated

(EDIT) I’ve just noticed during these weather events the rudder pedal is hit which engages the autopilot

Once again.

Thank you!

For anyone potentially facing this issue, I think I found the problem.

Auto rudder was enabled in settings within MSFS forcing a rudder input during weather events.

Further testing later but I believe that may be the issue

@skypilotYTS thanks again for advice as always!
