Hi everyone,
I’ve been trying really hard to get a couple of third party liveries loaded onto the Fenix A320 - but no luck. I know that the Fenix Livery Manager will only display and handle official Fenix liveries. Maybe someone can help me?
HERE’S THE CURRENT FILE STRUCTURE OF FENIX OFFICIAL LIVERIES
D:\ MSFS \ COMMUNITY \ FNX-AIRCRAFT-320-LIVERIES
3 directories and 2 files
LIVERIES
LIVERY PREVIEW IMAGES
SIMOBJECTS
layout.json
manifest.json
The Fenix liveries from their downloader are then kept in the SIMOBJECTS folder in another folder within it called AIRPLANES
Each airplane looks like this - for example
FNX_320_IAE_BMAGMIDY (this is the folder)
accompanied by 2 files and 1 folder
aircraft.cfg
liveryData.json
Folder is TEXTURE.BMAGMIDYAL
HERE’S WHAT I HAVE TO WORK WITH
The livery I downloaded comes as
Host Folder “fnx-aircraft-320-Airtours-International”
Containing
“SimObjects” folder
File 1 layout.json
File 2 manifest.json
The “Sim Objects” folder contains another folder called “Airplanes”
This folder contains another folder called “FNX_320_IAE_Airtours_International” and inside that is a folder called “TEXTURE.FlightFlow” and a file called aircraft.cfg.
I’m not an expert but it feels to me that the download is not quite in the right format that the other Fenix liveries are using.
Please can someone help me with how I need to configure the files and what goes where? It would be great appreciated!!
Thanks, Julian
I’ve tried reaching out to many people but can’t get an answer that works, simply putting it in the community folder just does not work.
