Fenix Airbus - Blank Screens

Since upgrading to SU3 and the Fenix BFU 2, the Fenix A320 (and other variants) start with blank screens (MCDU left/right/upper & lower).

Playing panel startup states is ineffective. Uninstall and reinstall is ineffective. Removing addons is ineffective.

It’s worked fine for years and now nothing

Anyone else having this issue?

The A320 app has to be running in the background, and it has to be logged in. You may also have to reset your license usage counter on their website.

No that’s not it either. Fenix bootstrapper starts the main fenix app when you load the aircraft. However the license reset was a new one for me so tried that but still have the same issue. The screens with the exception of the tablet remain stubbornly dark!

Are you using addon linker? I have had this issue when the wrong files (2020 in 2024) were linked.

I have exactly the same issue. Fenix support keeps on sending me the standard “fix” which no longer works since the latest update (virus, Fenix running before starting the simulator, etc,). It’s annoying as it already takes forever to load a flight just to see every display working except the table 100% of the time.

I’m having problems with both MSfS2020/24. Displays are blank, batt1/2 not showing voltage. EFB showing very low voltage. Re-installed MSFS2024 with only Fenix A320 in community folder but same problem exists. Until recently no problems with Fenix A320 whilst using MSFS2020/24.

i noticed without any updates some graphic settings and control settings had changed a couple of days ago without notice.

What is your flight model and flight interface settings in msfs24settings?

And do you have anything checked in your fenixapp by flightdeck displays?

Hi all, I have the exact same problem. I actually reinstalled MSFS 2024 as it started freezing in the middle of flights. Suddenly Fenix doesn’t work! The app doesn’t start automatically and once I manually start it I only get blank screens (although the tablet works).

After years of no problems it’s so frustrating!

Ok it turned out that it was BitDefender quarantining a DLL during installation/update. Either adding an exception or getting the antivirus vendor to whitelist the item solved the issue.

very confusing! re-entered fenix in windows firewall acceptance and fenix now works in MSFS202/24.

Hi, so how exactly did you remove it from the antivirus programme and then add it back in again? And which files did you remove from the antivirus programme for Fénix?

Having exactly the same issue. Reinstalled the app, cleared the community folder etc. But just black screens.
