Hi,
in the real Airbus A320 or B737, when you dial in a new alt or heading, it is really fast. In MSFS, it is like there is an annyoing lag when dialing new alt/hdg/frequency. First slow then fast.
X-Plane does it right, it is fast on first click.
Can this be fixed somehow because the real airplanes are not like that.
Thanks

It’s probably to differentiate between minor adjustment and major jumps to the value you want faster. It’ll be difficult to just want to adjust to 3 values and it jumps straight to 10 values the first time.
But in any way, if this bothers you, I think it’ll be a good idea to post a case to each of their respective support Forums.
Not sure right now if there is something on these two aircraft that prevents it, but usually you can hold down the SHIFT key while using the knob with your mouse wheel to turn them much faster.
Ok, but I dont want to hold down Shift. I want it to behave like in the real aircraft.
For it to behave like the real aircraft, you would need to get real physical knobs. I think they sell panels like that you can install.
Also I haven’t noticed the problem you’re describing

Use the mouse wheel. At least in the PMDG the rate is very similar to the real airplane.
