Ferry flights

Hi,

I’m new(ish) to MSFS so this may be a stupid question

I’m sure I saw on YouTube, someone flying MSFS in order to deliver goods to some destinations, getting paid (virtual money) or being on time etc. Is this an add on?

Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Thanks for the advice.

Yes its a freeware Addon. I think its more than one you can find at flightsim.to

There are a number of options for this.

OnAir company, FSE, AirHauler 2 (i think its called), Skypark, Neofly etc.

All have their own merits; worth researching.

I use OnAir and Skypark.

Thanks TrickedList137.

Hmm, They look interesting. Cheers.

I use OnAir because it kinda gives you the plane ownership feeling. The software simulates airframe time and engine condition, and you need to take off from where you landed so it has continuity. There is also a perma death server which really gives you a reason to check the weather of where you are going, or if the runway has landing lights during a night flight etc, i’ve been in some conditions that really made me sweat!! Its more of a company simulator which i am not interested in but had no issues using it as just a single freelance pilot.

I use Skypark for when i dont want to do a night flight, or i have a job that is not do-able at night (like a grass strip delivery airport) (i only tend to play with live weather/time).

Skyparks biggest advantage for me is you can take a job in any part of the world and use any plane so it still gives your flight a purpose but you are not as limited by the realism of OnAir. Skypark also has the best UI and most premium feel of all of them so far and its only in early access. Skypark also has great functionality for multiplayer mission running if you have friends to play with.

I cant comment on the rest of them but Neofly seems very popular.

Thats my 2 cents.
