FFair. My new Force feedback system for MSFS

if I’ve undestood correctly, I can use FFair with a MS FFB2 motor, isn’t it? Right now I’m gathering all the info I can find to diy my own FFB yoke using MS FFB2.

No, FFair has nothing to do with the MS FFB2.
The Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2 uses its own built-in controller along with the DirectInput force feedback API from DirectX. In contrast, FFair is entirely custom code and does not rely on the Windows force feedback API.

FFair is a standalone force feedback controller that can be used with various motors to build a custom FFB system. While the MS FFB2 motors could theoretically be repurposed, the MS FFB2 uses potentiometers for position feedback, whereas FFair is designed to work with encoders. This makes the MS FFB2 hardware incompatible with FFair.

FFair is a force feedback controller for building a fully customizable system—whether for yokes, rudder pedals, single or dual yokes, with dimensions, power, and mechanics tailored to the user’s exact needs.
