Filter Career Missions by Duration and Payout

Seeing the filters by Mission Type, Aircraft, and Difficulty has been a fantastic addition with 1.4.10.0 Sim Update 2 beta. There are a few additional filters that I believe should be added to allow users to view missions based on duration and payout. Possibly a range slider with a minimum and maximum time and a minimum base payout would be fantastic.

(I see a similar wishlist item that contains the filters that have been added in SU2 and my concern is that this wishlist item will be regarded as “complete” once SU2 goes live, but the entirety of its intent has not been fulfilled.)

Agreed the additional filters would help tremendously another concern i have is once the heavy certification goes live the career system will generate flights over 3 to 6 hrs and nothing less and on a weekday i couldn’t see that working. I was looking at the beluga flights and they seem around 1 to 3 hrs max, for 787 747 i dont see why they just need to be only passenger loads, maybe the plane need to be relocated which can have a shorter time :wink:

Ideally also a Sort By these criteria.

And I would also add to filter by Destination airport. You can filter by origin airport right now by going down to that airport and selecting Mission List off the airport icon but no way to find missions TO some given airport.

For finding a specific Destination I think we need to filter on the current mission list so that I’m looking at just missions on my screen (which provides somewhat of a geographic filter, probably of missions near my plane).

Also would be nice to be able to select Mission List right from some specific plane and have it automatically apply the correct Specialization and Aircraft type filters for that plane, and then if you pick a mission the airplane you had select would be the default to “transport” there vs the cheapest. Several times I have picked a mission near one plane and then wasn’t careful and teleported the wrong plane to my airport and had to pay twice – minor thing but just would be a nice to have.

How do I filter career missions by aircraft type? I can’t find those filters.

Where you look at the Missions List there are three filters:

  • Specialization
  • Difficulty
  • Aircraft

few more useful items to filter/sort on (plus those above):

Filter:

  • Live conditions vs. not (difficulty helps but not 100% spot on)
  • Origin/destination conditions (vfr, mvfr, ifr, day/night)
  • aircraft available (i.e., freelancer and the required aircraft is at the location)

Sort (some of these are suggested as filters already - but sort would be nice)

  • Duration
  • Payout
  • Cost to relocate aircraft to starting point (or maybe provide an option for net payout)

One more thing: provide an option to freeze the map whilst scrolling through the filtered list!

Thank you for adding most of this in the latest beta. Would still like to see search by destination airport and filter by aircraft on site (freelancer mode).
