Fire mission can't be completed bcs AT802 engine doesn't stop

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

AT802 fire mission cannot be completed because it’s not possible to shut down the engine.

After a successful firefighting mission, the AT802 is rolled to the parking position and setting the parking brake. Shutting down the engine (CTRL-Shift-E) to end the mission is no longer possible since SU2. The fuel supply lever also cannot be operated; it keeps jumping back to 100%.

Sorry to hear. Just another data point - I’ve completed many of these missions since SU2 with no issues.

Is that functionality works in free flight for that aircraft ?

Does the fuel lever works in free flight for that aircraft ?. If not check if you don’t have a binding conflict.

yes, CTRL-SHIFT-E works in free flight, engine shuts down immediately
and yes, fuel lever can be operated manually in free flight, engine shuts down at 10%.

For your info: After 4 weeks vacationI have not done anything in FS 24 except I downloaded SU2 and got stuck with this mission bug.

I also tried to control the prop pitch but that has no effect, the prop rotates unchanged at about 370 rpm without any speed drop

Update: Yes, meanwhile I found that while the engine can’t be turned off after all firefighting missions in Europe, it’s possible in fire missions in America and Canada. Here, everything works as it should. Who understands this nonsense?

Ah I see, very interesting. So this changes my response then, as I have only flown these missions in the US. I have not tested in Europe.
