Today was the first day since I bought the sim in Nov 2020 that I was able to make an IFR flight in an airliner, the FBW A320. I flew KDAL-KOKC-KDAL. Left everything running on the turnaround and made it back using ILS autoland once. Worked great. All in VR most importantly. Even ATC and live weather worked. Just wanted to say nice work to the FBW guys.

I have one question I dont want to waste making a new post about - if I hit say, the catering button and open the door, am I actually supposed to see a truck pull up? Because I dont see any ground service vehicles. The gate works. I never see any tugs anymore either. I used to. Radio calls at major airports are saying āno tugs availableā. Not a big deal, but I was just wondering if the FBW catering or fuel/baggage etc trucks not showing up is related, or if vehicles are simply not modeled yet for FBW. I do see random ground service vehicles driving around airports, however. Just no tugs.

I was thinking on this just earlier! Past few times I have played the sim I have seen no push-back tugs available at gates nor any catering trucks or baggage tugs with carts. I do have LatinVFR AREX so I think I will remove it and run a flight or two from an airport and gate that I know for sure to have had a push-back tug available to see if this isnāt an SU8 bug.

Ok, I just removed everything from the community folder except FBW. I started at KBOI where I was the last time, and all vehicles appeared. Something in the Community folder is not allowing ground service vehicles to show up. I have about a thousand items in mine normally, so who knows which is causing the problem. Maybe the KBOI scenery I have, idk. Iāll add that next and see. Hopefully it isnāt something worldwide like Bijan trees or something causing it.
Edit - not the KBOI scenery I have causing it. Itās going to take me some time to see what is blocking it. Iāll post back if I figure it out. The ground vehicles look awesome btw.
If you donāt have LatinVFR AREX did you by chance have the newest release of Tool Bar Pushback? I was thinking that this may be a culprit as well since I use it to connect the jetways and call for baggage and beverage. And off topic, why the heck donāt we see any lavatory service trucks? 
No, I have neither of those.
Ok, I just went though all 1318 items in my community folder (took all day). I found that any folder containing the folder āAirportServicesā or āLivingWorld_configā cause the ground traffic to not appear afaik. After I removed these, the remaining cause of the disappearance is 5 airports containing folders āMaterialLibā. However, I have many other airports with this āMaterialLibā folder not causing the problem. For example, one of the four airports is āacasim-airport-mmaa-acapulcoā. I put this into the community folder by itself with the FBW, and no ground traffic. Same with the other 4 US airports. And those would be:
46u-scenery
007-airport-me55-vinalhaven
2nc0-mountainair
dazt-airport-u36-aberdeen
Not sure why these airports are causing problems when other are not. I am not savy enough for in-depth file analysis. Maybe someone else knows something about this. It could be related to something else totally, idk.
But I got it working well. Now Im going to go make a FBW flight!

Thanks for that info! I have also dumped the community folder and am slowly putting things back. I have got ground vehicles back so far and itās all working. Iām using your info as search keywords to hopefully find the culprit quicker. I reinstalled LatinVFR AREX as well Toolbar Pushback and they seem to work fine with the latest experimental version of the FBW NX without causing any issue with the vehicles disappearing. AREX contains the LivingWorld_config and Toolbar Pushback contains the AirportServices folder. But like I said though, they are working just fine at the moment so I am going to do searches in my dump folder to see what else contains AirportServices and LivingWorld_config.
Edit: So, for me any add-ons I have that contain LivingWorld_config are LatinVFR AREX and that is installed and working. So for me itās got to be an add-on containing the AirportServices folder with the associated files inside.
