Hey guys,
this was my first VFR Flight from a airfield near Berlin to Wien. Purpose was to discover the ability of the sim when dead reckogning navigation and ofcourse the flight physics. I fly the DV 20 in real life and I am amazed by how real it feels - never has a sim put real dynamics so close to realitiy.
The flight started very nice, calm winds and a good ceiling height but turned pretty difficult after passing EDDP where cells where buildung up. I did flight planing and also weather briefing before and I knew what was coming so I was able to outfly these cells and some I pass through on purpose bc hell is that a nice feeling. I did a quick fuel stop in Sonnen which is a very very small airfield in southern germany. Fuel calculation worked perfectly. Only the approach was very below any minimums and I would have diverted in real life, but its a nice experience to do this in a sim.
I love the new sim and I wouldnt want to switch back. This will be the future!

Wow. Just beautiful! Some reason I prefer flying in slightly murky weather conditions because I like seeing the sky break brough the grey clouds, much like your first image.
