I tried to fly in NZQN with C208 for about half an hour, and the stuttering phenomenon was more serious than before. Although the FSP is around 40-50, stuttering with a duration of 0.3-0.5 seconds will occur randomly, and the interval may be 5 seconds-10 seconds or even longer or even not occur. Random stuttering is very annoying during the landing and rolling phases.
I only use real-time live weather, without any AI and online players. There is no external simconnect program.
Did you use to have the fps fix? It will have been overwritten and/or need re-implementing
never using it and how to get it and is it still work in new update ?
What’s your GPU specs, monitor refresh rate, and vsync settings?
1080ti OC 11G
no vsync and refresh rate is 60
Try setting vsync to 30fps or half refresh rate and see if that helps. Maybe your GPU can’t render at 40-50 fps in certain areas?
Also, what’s you network download speed?
about 100M bandwidth and If it is set to 30FPS, it will feel very unsmooth, after all, I use a 27-inch monitor.
That’s odd. Currently flying up the south of Italy at 8500ft through light clouds, 46fps on high end/ultra @ 3440x1440 and not one stutter since take off. If anything to me it seems smoother, not that I had too many issues with stuttering beforehand.
Out of curiosity, what is the correlation between 30fps and 27 inch monitor? Doesn’t 30fps divide nice and evenly into 60hz? A frame every 2hz no?
Have you looked at my recent topic?
Does it getting orse over tim during the flight?
On the other hand, my stutters are completely gone, hmmm.
I can absolutely confirm the horrible stuttering since the update today.
I just checked out NZQN. Traffic is completely disabled. Settings ULTRA. 4K monitor/
Take off towards the bay, turn over the golf course, landing and taxi to the parking lot. During the entire flight, I noticed only three small stutters. Overall, very smoothly. Much better than yesterday.
By the way, a very beautiful airport. Was there for the first time.
Stuttering occurs at low altitudes below 2,000 feet and is not obvious at high altitudes. I think this is not a problem of graphics card rendering, but a problem that some things are too late to load.
I have the same impression. Sitting on the runway at LEMD, after some seconds, I get good, stable FPS. Afterwards, when I take off, the stuttering starts. If I do a circuit and land on the same runway, FPS drop a lot during the approach. Finally, when I stop on the runway and I let it some time, FPS are again stable
I’m fine at low altitude. SSD Samsung .M2
Yikes i think i am getting as well
I seem to have solved this problem, the main reason is to turn on the vertical sync in the game and limit it to 60FPS. I traveled around Wuhan, using real-time weather, and there was no stuttering or stuttering.
At the same time, I flew Paro-Kathmandu using real weather, and there was no obvious stuttering.
