Flap setting degrees changes, tuning does not save

Issue: Flap degree values are inconsistent with C172. No mods are installed

Normal: 0, 10, 20, Full

Sim behavior (using keyboard or my Gear-Falcon controller)

4, 17, 23, 29
3, 17, 24, 29
3, 16, 22, 29
3, 18, 23, 29

The 10 degree setting is way off. Outside the aircraft, the flaps do move closer to 20 than 10, so a big impact to flying performance.

Happens always

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Watch flap indicator and overlayed degree values
  2. Cycle flap settings
  3. Try adjusting (tuning) the controller (Gear-Falcon) behavior in the sim settings. No adjustments are saved.

It would appear to me that you have your flaps setup on your controller as analog instead of digital. That is why you are seeing such variation.

Thank you for helping! That is true. The Gear-Falcon trim wheel is analog (joystick axis).

If I use the keyboard commands to lower the flaps, the same numbers result.

Moved to User Support Hub since not a bug.

Okay I understand. The values are correct if the keyboard is used so the analog trim wheel is the problem. Hopefully a way to configure it.
