I can confirm that this issue occurred during a ferry flight of a Robin DR400, both on the ground at 0 speed as well as in the air while very comfortably in the white arc.
I’ve been using the DHC2 in career mode and I can’t use the flaps at all because I get the co-pilot assistance message that I am going too fast for the flaps.
This happens at any speed, even when not moving on the ground with the parking brake on!
Really annoying for career mode because you get penalized.
I just wanted to write down the same observation. It’s costing me dearly every time…
Also getting the flap over speed error (as well as on other aircraft). Additionally, the mixture handle doesn’t seem to do anything to engine performance/fuel burn until cutoff. Is anyone else having that issue/able to provide any input?
Same issue with the Beachcraft Bonanza
Noticed the same issue. Also noticed xNate262x’s report of mixture seeming to do nothing. Looks like another incomplete aircraft.
Same issue with Flaps. Taxi in Career and get dinged for Exceeding Flap Speed while taxiing at 5-10 knots. Also in Career, DHC-2 does not give enough fuel for mission. (Not sure if we’re suppose to change fuel load as it is never mentioned in any of the tutorials along with a ton of other things that are omitted.)
Having the exact same issues:
Anytime I lower the flaps in the DHC2 (even when stationary) I get a too fast for flaps warning. You even get two of them if you skip to takeoff. This absolutely tanks your reputation score.
I also tried to fly a cargo mission in the DHC2 and ran out of fuel about 1/4 to the destination. It seems you can’t actually change your fuel load on takeoff either.
I am having the same flaps issue super frustrating definitely loosing out on missions because of the issue.
As far as running out of fuel in the beaver it has three separate tanks (4 IRL if you count the wing tips) you will need to manually switch between tanks using the red dial on the bottom left of the flight panel you can choose between rear middle or front. Cross check your EFB or the fuel gauges in the top right of the middle panel (three gauges in one due to the three tanks) for what tanks have usable fuel. I was having a similar issue when I started but switching through tanks has seem to resolve it for me.
I only tried a couple flights with the Beaver, my second was a 1h30 flight and even with switching tanks I didn’t even have enough gas to make it halfway.
