Have anybody experience this? Once I connect to VR the image flick like a tv from the 80’s when the antenna was messed up. I am getting 33fps on VR though. I have the HP 2 headset.
A few ideas.
- It sounds like a bad wire connection. Have you disconnected the headset from the computer and reconnected it? There’s the DVI wire and the USB wire. Check that they’re connected properly and there’s no damage to either of the wires.
- Are you using motion reprojection? If so try turning that off and see what happens.
- Are you using DX11 or DX12? I assume DX11 but try switching that. I think you have to restart the game when you change that setting.
I’ve had that once. Reconnect the headset and/or reboot PC. It’s a faulty GPU state. (at least in my case it was)
Another suggestion: if you are using OpenXR Toolkit, try without it. There is an issue causing flickering if you enabled Foveated rendering in OpenXR Toolkit but not enable TAA in the Flight Sim settings.
It might be worth just clearing the environmental data as well, you have nothing to lose other than a few seconds to do so.
Thank you, guys. Restarting the pc and unplugging the headset worked.
