Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
Yes & seen as Habu2u2 has stated below. Rivets reflecting sunlight? even thought they are covered by dark red and black paint. Could only notice on starboard wing, upper surface & just the area as show by op.

Tested in free flight rather than the bush trip, but YES, had the flickering.
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
Used the same plane and livery that’s used in the Carpathian bush trip, but flew in a free flight. The flickering was present all the time, but much more obvious with the sun at the 1000-1730 hrs time frame with sunlight on the wings. Appears to only be in the black/darker red areas of the wings.

DX11

no

EDIT: after changing the time several times, and changing views several times, the flickering went away. If I restarted the flight, there was no flickering. If I exited the flight and then flew another one with the same plane/livery, I didn’t have any flickering.
Beats me…
Second EDIT:
I ran the sim again today (roughly 24 hours after my last test). Same setup (free flight with Robin DR400/100 and the red livery from the Carpathian bush trip). When I first started I did not have any flickering. After about 4 minutes, the flickering started. Same rivets in the black/dark red portions of the wing. I moved the time/sun position around quite a bit, but still had the flickering. “I’m never going to get paid!” (thank you “Stargate”!)
