Hi guys,

Hi guys,

Yes … the G1000 monitors on the C208 are flickering around the edges
Same issue in the G36 with its G1000’s but I’m using the WT mod? Are you using that? Comes and goes on mine and it wasn’t there before WU3.
… not using any mod for the C208 or G1000
confirm, flickering came with the world update
Hey, I got this flickering overall in the sim, not in a plane or in a G1000 especially… main menu, loading screen…
Have you tried enabling VSync?

Yes sir, was my first thought, but didn´t change anything. Also I´ve tried some changes in nvidia setup settings, but also nothing changes. What is strange, that I got this flickering at 3440x1440px. But, if I change to lower resolutions, the flickering is away…but this can´t be the solution, right?
yes I have…
I have the exact same problem after the World update III. Using a Nvidia graphics card and a 3440x1440p monitor too. First thought it was my displayport cable but after trying other games and using another cable I concluded it started after the update and only in Msfs… pretty annoying.
Yep. Vsync=fast cured the frame tearing caused by WU3 but the edges of the G1000’s flicker like crazy now. Seems to occur at altitude however. On the ground I don’t notice it. Probably the weirdest bug yet for me, as it literally comes and goes with no obvious pattern.
Hmm. I may have found the “culprit”. It seems the issue is related to the prop blur simulation (moire effect?). If I move the prop lever slowly backwards and forwards I can cause the flickers to move around the outside of the G1000’s either clockwise or anti-clockwise (in the same direction as the prop appears to move) and if I get it just right they stay in one place (as the prop does). This is why I couldn’t see it on the ground as the prop blur is not seen whilst taxiing, only at full power. This is in the G36 BTW. It could also explain why some people don’t see it, as I suspect the frame-rate also has a part to play (I am locked at around 30fps on a 60Hz non-Gsync monitor). Anyway, if you see the same thing as I do have a play with the prop lever and see if you can move the flickers
I have noticed flickering / aliasing issues around water bodies which are far away in the distance, didn’t notice this before the update. Some objects like trees also have a glow around them.
I also get a glow around objects sometimes as well as flickering around the G1000 … comes and goes … I reported to Zendesk … has anyone else reported?
Having this issue on my 3440x1440 100hz VA panel.Had to turn off that GSYNC compatibility stuff in the NVIDIA CPL to fix it.
I noticed the flickering occurs when in cloud … if in clear blue sky flickering goes … like the halo around aircraft and objects in cloud it appears that this has arisen due to Asobo/Microsoft working on reducing cloud pixellation … how could quality control miss this before release of WUD 3?
You should use V-sync in game and not in NVCP after the update, set V-sync to use 3D program in NVCP.
Wow. you have to terminate technology because someones software is not in control… oh man.
