I’ve purchased the IFR Training pack and unpacked it to community folder but it’s not showen in the Bush Trips Page! Although it’s visible at the content page.
Also tried to install it woth modmanfx64 bur no improvement.
What;s with all of these mod managers? Just adding more problems to 3rd party developers lives!
I had no issue with IFR training other than it’s very, very rigid. There are other tools our there the provide more flexibility in where you can fly and learn at the same time
@Brunnilingus69 I don’t really have a recommendation for IFR.
I’ve started using FSFlyingSchool for all of my GA flights. It’s really useful as you can use it anywhere you fly and as you’re not limited to set locations unlike IFR/VFR missions. The instructor tells me where I’m going wrong and not your usual scripted rubbish. Also the after flight evaluation is really useful as I’ve found some bad habits that I didn’t know I had!
bought it and i see what you mean. i like the flight academy lessons too because i was absolutely clueless. now the flightschool teacher can get me shaped. it’s great how it auto detects everything i do!
ps: for those who maybe also have issues with the visibility of the flight academy lessons: in rare cases (like mine) you simply have to dl the same zip again because it got ‚damaged‘ or smthg.
FS Academy - VFR has now been released!
it shows you how to fly circuits, including low-level, touch and go, go-arounds, overhead joins etc.
The locations are chosen carefully and gives a curated and varied landscape to learn. Quality > Quantity for sure!
We for sure took the quality over quantity approach when developing locations for FS Academy.
Circuits are flown the same everywhere, either right-hand or left, so once you’ve been shown properly, you can take that skill anywhere.
I’ll message here given that you are not in control of your emails presently, but please remember to use the support pages and email address provided in future, as those are the proper channels. Such posts can be confused by the uninitiated as negative feedback for the product, when infact they have almost all been misunderstandings or user error.
But thank you for returning here to confirm it was not a bug with IFR itself.
There is an annotated diagram in the manual which shows the C152’s Directional Gyro instruments as such, which I recommend you refer to, along with the other content in there.
There is also an unbelivable wealth of information online and elsewhere to give you the body of knowledge you’re looking for.
FS Academy - VFR, just released, might be a better place to start, as it covers aircraft instrumentation, principles of flight, circuit patterns, approach attitudes and much more. This is what any real pilot training course would begin with, rather than plunging you into the deep end.
Best of luck and once you get back into your emails, feel free to email us for further advice.
You are something else… IFR by its very nature is more complex than VFR. That’s why there is a separate rating for it. Anyone starting an IFR course is already EXPRESSLY familiar with things like the compass. You are unfairly criticizing the product out of your own lack of understanding. Did you complete the tutorials that come with MSFS? Maybe jumping into IFR training is not quite for your level if you can’t find a compass. Your lack of knowledge and entitlement is the issue, you expect everything handed to you on a silver platter. No one claimed that by buying a course you will NOT have to put in any effort.
Guess what? Those Carenado planes are fixed now. They are a good product. So is this. You are simply entitled and in this case you think your expectations is what should dictate the product. I am very happy with all of FS Academy products and many others are as well. I am sorry you aren’t happy. But don’t go around with “false advertisement” BS…
