I can add a little to the bug, Here is as screenshot

I use the US Imperial system set in the language settings. The plane is showing kmh, and on the HUD the speed should be in mph. I did some math and it seems to me that a wrong conversion is happening on the instrument as 62 mph would be 99 kmh. The HUD is showing the correct value 98 mph and the value on the dial should be 158 kmh. A classic conversion error.
Hope this speeds it up a bit.

Yes, same problem, and I would add that the overspeed warning for using the flaps is incorrectly configured.

For example flaps at -12 is NOT the default setting, it is a setting only used in high speed cruise flight, the default setting should be set for flaps to 0 and we should not have any overspeed warning for this setting (and the warning seems set too low for the other flap settings, but with a speedometer that doesn’t work, I can’t be sure of this point)

I experienced this issue - it is difficult to diagnose for players unaware of the this bug unless you are in career mode or are using the Full HUD. The minimal Hud lacks units so corroborates the in-cockpit gauge. In career mode, you get warned if you’re flying to fast which is how I diagnosed the airspeed gauge was broken.

The full HUD has both Knots and KPH on display making finding this bug easier.

The problem with the incorrect speed in the cockpit airspeed meter still persists.
In the screenshot the actual airspeed is 119 kts (bottom left), airspeed meter in the cockpit should show 220km/h. But it shows only 78km/h

• Why cant i change the IAS to km/h instead of kts? In German UL km/h is common. But the indicator in the dash and the indicator in the HUD are not showing correct Values, the math is wrong.

Thanks for fixing this bug soon.

Air speed indicator still not fixed on the Flight Design CTSL (xbox, series x). When flying at 115kts, the indicator is reading ~72KmH, when it should be reading 213KmH. I struggle to understand how this issue has been missed, considering it is fundamental to flying the plane.

Just bought FS2024 and I saw this bug too. I used to fly with the CTSL in FS2020 and I never saw a bug like this in this version.
It is really strange that planes have not been tested….

I’ve just buy the Sim…this bug it’s still there. I use to fly the CT, even for real, the take off performance looks like exaggerate. Not in the 2020 version

Is this aircraft not popular at all? I wonder because it was in career mode but has been removed locking it for anyone that has it in their fleet. I raised a bug that has 2 votes.
I deduce no one cares because no one uses it… But you guys do… So do you not use it in career?

Tested with SU1, the airspeed indicator is still broken… They correted some bugs in the plane, but not the biggest… go figure…

Air speed indicator is still unusable. Even after several months of reporting, the developers have not bothered to fix this bug.
I purchased Flight Simulator three months ago to train for ultralights, but without the air speed indicator as the most important instrument, this is impossible, which is very disappointing.
■■■■, should I demand a refund?

This fundamental bug was not fixed even with SU2. Obviously this way of reporting is absolutely inefficient. I am not sure if they even register the problem. The developers could at least comment the problem whether we should expect it will ever be fixed.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?

Yes.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time on sim load

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Select the Flight Design CTSL in Free Flight
  2. Set the Garmin aera510 avionics screen on the right side of the instrument panel to 3D Vision
  3. Compare the speed shown there (in kts) to the speed shown on the analog airspeed indicator (in Kmh) - converting the Garmin indicated speed from kts to Kmh should match the speed on the analog gauge; it does not.
