Bug Report: Flight Design CTSL - Ground Movement Issues
Issue Description: There are a issue affecting the Flight Design CTSL in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024:
- Ground Movement / “Sticky” Brakes: After coming to a complete stop during taxiing, the aircraft often becomes “stuck” to the ground. Despite applying full throttle and ensuring that parking brakes and toe brakes are released, the aircraft refuses to roll again as if the tires are glued to the tarmac or the brakes are internally engaged.
Frequency: High
Reproduction Steps:
-
Select the Flight Design CTSL and start at any parking spot
-
Perform the standard engine start procedure (Battery ON, Fuel Open, Ignition START).
-
(If engine remains running): Taxi to a point and come to a complete stop using the brakes.
-
Release all brakes (verify via cockpit lever/pedal animation) and attempt to resume taxiing by increasing throttle.
Expected Result:
- The aircraft should begin rolling again with a reasonable amount of breakaway torque/throttle once brakes are released.
Actual Result:
- The aircraft remains stationary even at high power settings (50-80% throttle) after a full stop, despite no brake input.
