Flight plan does not reposition in current leg after resuming bush trip

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

When you finish a leg in a bush trip and exit the activity, the flight plan is not position in the next leg when you resume the bush trip. No matter if you have finished the previous leg successfuly or not, when you reenter the bush tripand try to continue the flight plan’s next leg is a previous one,

Tha avionics that I’ve tested is the Garmin 1000 (Caravan, C172…)

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

In all bush trips.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Begin a bush trip and finish two or three legs.

  2. Exit the activity.

  3. Reenter to continue with the next leg. The flight plan will mark a previous leg as the next one.

This was also in FS2020 the case. As a workaround you can scroll down in the G1000 and activate the correct leg.

Yes, this is what I’m doing. But I did all bush trips in MSFS 2020 and I don’t remember this behavior at all. I’ve begun to see it in third party bush trips here in 2024, and I thought that it was because they were third party, but in official bush trips also happens.

I definitely had this issue in 2020, but it came along later in the cycle I believe.
