Flight planning mcdu or world map in game

Hi guys I have some questions

How should I create a flight plan ?

I know that in the mfs2020 you have the world flight plan

Or I can just spawn at the gate without choosing anything in the world map and just fill in the mcdu with all the info from simbfrief and create a route in the mcdu and not the world map from in game

Please help as it’s a bit confusing for myself thanks lads

Just go to the gate and add everything in the MCDU. Never used the Worldmap for 2 years.
