using world map for a flight & all it will allow is direct, no IFR nothing. this has happened after maverick update all ok before.

After switching to IFR (High-altitude airways), have you tried to open “DEPARTURE (Direct)” drop-down list to check if it allow selection ?
Same question for “ARRIVAL (Direct)” and “APPROACH (Automatic)”
Anyway, in any case the FlyByWire allow you to directly prepare your own route into the MCDU, please follow any good tutorial and best practices around this, there’s plenty of it on the net and you will find many good advice here on the forums. Search for MCDU Flight Plan tutorial and samples

Well, while writing I see a point, that you’ve not chosen the “IFR (High-altitude airways)”, which sounds correct for an airliner, so still have to check on your own
I will also put the “IFR (Low-altitude airways)” attempt I’ve done following the first selection I’ve made and for which I also get a good result showing another route.
Otherwise, I guess you get an issue in the downloaded data related to navigation (navdata)
If on Steam, perform a files check using Steam menu
We’re also able to choose between other available SID (departures) :

This is close to what I am seeing.
Departure on low or high IFR from KBUR (ORBX version) only gives the option ‘DIRECT’.

Happened after a reinstallation of the game. Was fine before. Reinstalling the game again dosen’t fix it (Including deleting the appdata folder) (Im on steam version) . Never installed navigraph but did install FBW A32NX and the default simbrief thing which comes with it in the installer. As I said worked fine before but after reinstalling it happens and reinstalling again dosen’t fix it.
