OK - it appears that after installing the launcher, you won’t need to download the entire game.
1 Install or reinstall MSFS launcher via xbox app
2 Launch MSFS
3 On the Installation Manager screen click on “Install Package Path”
4 Navigate to the MS2020 folder on the F drive and click “Select Folder.”
