Mod edit:
Hello dear Flugsimer,
when planning my flight who I plan from one airport to another, invisible waypoints are already included shortly after or before the airport.
See screenshot…
The upper right waypoint is set by me and the lower left is not set by me which is automatically set even at the departure airport and arrival airport always at the same distance.
This would make me fly back and make another turn to the airport.
Guten Tag liebe Flugsimer,
Rainer
In your screenshot you should see the waypoint list: EDNH NY063 ENIBI EDNY
You can select any of these waypoint and remove them if you don’t want.
If I had to guess the NY063 is the one you need to remove.
Mod edit:
No the NY063 I have set and the ENIBI you can not see on the screenshot.
The one I mean is the one without name and without marking above Hirschach the one to the left of it which is automatically already set without doing to mine.
And that with every flight plan and that why I don’t know.
You can only see that from this distance… and on the plane the flight schedule is normal.
Thank you very much for YOUR support and help.

I am having this same issue on some flight plans (not all). Regardless of whether I plan using the MSFS Globe map, or whether I use Little NavMap, I end up with bogus waypoints. Hopefully this can be addressed next update or sooner.
The entire flight plan system has been partially broken for a long time.
Last sim update did sort of fix a few of the bugs but obviously still some around.
Once you could turn on the AP at any time and the plane would nicely follow the plan from there
but now it seems it insists on going back to the beginning of the flight.
Really annoying.
Not to mention the ‘cant click delete waypoint’ bug.
Such a pain as well.
At least one can go back to main screen and then back to map to (mostly) work around that one.
But yes Asobo needs to look into the flight plan and autopilot and do some fixing.
Blue skies!
I have found that bogus waypoints are added when SID STAR overlap due to airports being to close. Example, KJFK 31L SKORR4 SID to KBOS 22L ROBUC3 STAR. The SKORR SID from KJFK will not follow properly because the KBOS ROBUC3 STAR overlaps the KJFK SID. In World Map remove waypoints JFK, NEWES and FEXXX found in the KBOS ROBUC3 STAR. Then add waypoint MERIT then the KJFK SID will work.
Using IFR flight analyzer from www.flightaware.com you will get an actual flown route in real life being MERIT ROBUC. I found this tool very nice in determining actual flight routes.
Note: Without removing the JFK, NEWES and FEXXX waypoints found in the KBOS ROBUC3 STAR will cause the auto routing system to go crazy. You will see this in the VFR map from inflight toolbar.
