This is a continuation of a flight that started in France and has so far reached Luxor on the Banks of the Nile river.
Today, I changed aircraft from the Latecoere 631 to the Dornier Do J Wal.
Here we are, on the Nile river by the Jollie Ville Resort, taxiing out for take off:
The wind was coming from the south, so it was a straight-out departure down the river:
I once again flew along the eastern side of the river. Without irrigation, its all sand and rock:
First waypoint: the dam and locks at Esna:
Next up - the airport at Daraw (HE23):
About 80 minutes after take-off, we reach Aswan:
and cross over the lower dam at Nagaa Al Karur. The high dam is in the distance:
The high dam. I’m going to land on the far side to the left and moor at the High Dam Dock, by the Nile Valley Ferry terminal.
On final. The dock is straight ahead:
Moored at the dock, which unfortunately is not rendered at all in the game. The rail terminal and heliport (HEIE6) are at the top of the bluffs:
