Flightsim Dispatch

Is anyone using Flightsim Dispatch to find real life routes from the last 70 years?

I think I am too dumb to get it to work. I downloaded the latest version, extracted everything, started the exe but no matter I do, I get zero results.

The instructions simply say: “To install, simply download and unzip the program into the folder of your choice and run the executable. More instructions are included in the download.”

Inside the download folder there’s a readme that says: “To Install: Drop FlightScheduler.exe, FlightDB.db, and the TimeZone folder into a folder of your choice and then run the executable.” When I do that, the program won’t even start, so I guess that this readme is a leftover from an old version.

Wish I was in front of my PC to double-check, but yes, it should be that easy. I don’t recall doing any special gymnastics to get it working.

And you simply enter the departure airport like EBBR and you see results? Or do you have to fill out arrival airport, specific airlines and aircraft family too? I left flight duration on default 0-22 hrs and flight year on 1950-2022. Still the only result I get is “FS Dispatch is up to date!”

Good question, I don’t remember, but I generally already have a plane in mind before I use it, so that is always populated.

Enter departure, then click “Refresh Table” in the lower right. This is what I saw.

Oh wow. I did not even see those two buttons down there. My start/taskbar was covering these up. I‘m so dumb

Thanks for the help!
