FlightSim Studio B727

Shame they still are nowhere completing the E jets

No mention of Xbox / marketplace?

Any eta on that one? Pax version will likely have my vote

Certainly November at the earliest but I think early 2025 is more likely.

Gotcha Thanks

If this had been in the $20-25 range I’d probably have picked it up to hold me off while waiting on the FSReborn/SWS 727. But at $42, it’s gonna take some glowing reviews. I don’t have other FSS products, but the feedback I see on them makes them sound ambitious but quirky.

For $20 it would probably be on the captain sim level which is a waste of $20. Hard to find any decent airliners at that price level

Their E-Jets are pretty good. Not where we’d like them to be yet but the commitment’s certainly there. I believe their Tecnams are decent.

Does anybody know what kind of quality can we expect here?

Did you read the post directly above yours?

I love their Ejets and they have had plenty of updates so i will definitely get this.

727 on Xbox? I haven’t seen that answered yet. Frustrating that devs announce details and dates but often always leave out the platforms it’s coming too. Oversight imo.

The NDA was lifted and streamers are now flying it

Wow, tell me you haven’t been flight simming ā€˜back in the day’ without telling me you haven’t been flightsimming ā€˜back in the day’ !!

Watching the v1 simulations stream, and the 727 looks incredible! High fidelity with the possibility of doing all three crew posititions yourself, but also automate some things. This must be the most complex airliner for MSFS.

Tell me I should use my real name around here without telling me I should use my real name around here…

Add-ons being overpriced for the tiny (relative to MSFS) P3D market doesn’t mean I want to spend that kind of money nowadays. And I’m just saying it’s more than I want to spend. If it’s study-level-ish there’s a market for $42 airplanes. It’s just not me for most planes.

That said, this looks to be a notch above the earlier FSS airliner releases, and I love me a 727. I’m more psyched about the competing 727 because of the versions they’re doing, but I doubt it’ll be out for a long time. So if FSS gets good buzz and doesn’t have the level of issues the FSS E-jets did on release (the latest reviews still comment on in-progress features), I might spring for it. It’s just not priced as a ā€œcasualā€ purchase.

Agreed. Priced too high for what you get. No other variants and dev still hasn’t clarified if it’s for Xbox /Marketplace too.

I’m honestly a bit puzzled here. I don’t own the Ejets series as the reviews warned me not to. I then witnessed the release of a freighter version while updates on the main product are still inadequate. And all the time the team has been working on this beautiful 727 addon which I really like…

However… I kinda feel bad for simmers having bought the Ejets, supporting this upcoming developer that way, waiting way too long for important updates that still haven’t really fixed core systems (as I understand it) only because commercial priorities like these were set. I’m kinda put off by the lack of developer-customer loyalty. Promising one thing to those who support you, while catering others.

Maybe I haven’t been close enough on the update cycles though so any objective reviews from people who did buy the Ejets would have my interest.

I see the same things you do. I’m not sure I’ll be buying this, considering FSS’s track record.

No matter how good an addon looks, if it doesn’t receive ongoing support, or that support is inadequate, it’s not worth the investment.
