FlightSim Studio B727

As FSS have said time and time again, the 727 was developed by a different team. It’s not unusual for a company to be working on multiple projects at the same time.

Having said that, I have the E-190 and while I love it, progress has been slowish, I find. So the optics are certainly bad. It just kinda stings when they bring out a pretty decent looking airliner, and at the same time seemingly not make a LOT of progress on a project that’s been going for several years now.

But hey, I wait patiently. I do believe they’re a good bunch, and they will get there.

To add to that, I don’t doubt their track record when it comes to support and updates. I have the Tecnam P2012, and both that plane and their P2006 have had several substantial updates and post-release upgrades.

And to add to that even more, they themselves have admitted they were not entirely happy with how they released the E-Jets and how they structured its development, and have stated they won’t be repeating that for future releases. I respect that. It’s a youngish company, mistakes will be made, live and learn.

I have the ejets for a few main reasons.

  1. It’s available on Xbox
  2. To simply have another aircraft type & one that I’ve been on in real life.
  3. Just to have fun in external chase mode most times.

I don’t care about anything else really

Ejets on Xbox? I could only find their Tecnams which I bought on marketplace.

No the model you mentioned was probably from another developer Virtualcol.

Maybe I misunderstood. I took ejets to be embraer liek e175.

Personally i find the Ejets very capable and they have had plenty of updates, i’m guessing the people who dont like them are after PMDG type sophistication

I own both E-Jets and of course the freighter. I think it is sad that the team couldn’t get VNAV working after more than 1 year. Putting that aside the team behind the 737F is, if I my understanding is correct, the team that produced the Tecnams, not the Ej-jets, the Tecnams are really very nice.

From the streams/reviews I really like this 727, in some systems it is more advanced than the FJS version for XP11, it also has a very nice EFB. The sounds from switches are bad, the real ones are very claky and metallic and these sound like mouse button clicks. The other problem I could spot was excessive stability, the 727 rattles a lot and buffets a lot and in the streams it seemed to go on rails when landing.

I will be getting it as soon as it is released as it seems very very nice and the 727 is such a great plane.

Those little stupid things are really gonna get in your way of having fun?

Hi @MuffPi ,

Not at all. I am very much looking forward to the 727.
However since I have flown 727s for most of my career IRL, these things do catch my eye.
The idea is to let the developers know, so they can improve their product.

Of course, thanks to the guys for developing the “dinosaur” But!
The cabin looks like from the Jurassic period MSFS.
The instruments are flat, the heads of all the screws are located the same (the gap is in one direction) and so on…
I don’t want to offend anyone. It’s just my opinion. After PMDG and Phoenix, rather no than yes.
I apologize in advance.

I’m in no hurry for a 727 as I have too many highly detailed aircraft to fly now but I will wait and see what FS Reborn will put out as for a 727 in a year, two or three. From most of the comments all over the net on this developer have bee not so positive and promises have not been met in previous releases, so a easy pass for me on this until the can show they can finish other products first.

Edit: from what I understand they did not even do the model for the E 170/175 as it is from an X-Plane developer, what in the world is this. Have they done anything respectable?

What are you talking about?
FSS is sharing a roadmap, clean and clear update notes, have 3 aircraft products released as “finished” products (2x tecnam, 1x searay)
They have very good ideas, like the first “real” walk-around (tecnam).

Yes they have issues to get the VNAV implementation finished for the E-Jets, but this is the only big thing.
And the E-jets are marked as early access.

FSS had done some pretty good airports as well.

Besides that, they are always online on discord and trying to help and answer questions.

My suggestion for you:
Think, research, and afterwards write a comment

P.S: About the 727: Many streamers are quite satisfied with it…
But: You don’t have to buy it. Just don’t tell lies …

What I’m talking about?

Sorry but i’m not convinced by your comment and if you don’t like mine than fine and as I said i’m staying clear of this developer for current development cycle until they can get their E-Jets up to par with other $40+ addons and I don’t care what any streamer has to say about an 727 they gave to them to showcase in early access. Have a nice time with their products in the meanwhile though.

Or they want a plane that is completed, not an early access. I won’t buy it until it gets FMS implemented but looks like I will have to wait until end of 2024.

Do you want us to discuss something?
Or are you suggesting we buy it and then discuss it?
A lot of admiration from all sorts of streamers and bloggers won’t convince me of what I see.

Do what you like… Doesn’t matter for me.
If you don’t like it. please don’t buy it.

I don’t have this plane, but I love the idea of using a clipboard instead of a tablet. It looks much better in classic planes and the functionality is basically the same. It even shows Navigraph charts.

Those… Tablets in every plane. Ugh!
I don’t mind one right at start to program passengers and fuel /ac options then file it away out of sight for rest of flight.
For modern planes sure a tablet is what they use but I’d ADORE a loose leaf folder with sound effects of rustling paper while the fo reaches for a paper chart. Or opens a loose leaf ring binder lol. Some planes even have smartphones in portrait mode right in front of pilot.. I mean that’s a capital offence right there lol.

I’m so ready for this thing to release. My favorite aircraft and I’ve heard nothing but good impressions.

Some addons make their EFBs like that. The Redwing Connie popped into my mind first, but there are others too.
