FlightSim Studio B727

How 727 100 is compared to 200

Actually there are some bugs that are not present in the -200 (waiting for the first patch) but overall it’s a nice airplane. I’ve only flown the Super -100 so far but compared to the -200 it’s a pocket rocket. It hand flies really well, but that’s a strong point of all FSS airplanes, -200 too. I probably prefer this one to -200, it’s more compact.

My flight to KSAN tonight…

A beaut.

Oooh ok i have 200 freight and super but i want to study and learn the 100 first i think is better for what u say too

Is not working,
Too many CTDs
Flight Computer GPS not loading or disabled
TEXTURES ARE TRANSPARENT
NO POST SALE SUPPORT
It is also available in the FS store. I bought this addon from Contrail
And after few days appeared between ingame FS store.

I tried everything Community suggested, nothing fixed after V1.1.6 update.
I’m not going to buy the same from ingame FS store.

There’s lots of post sale support on their Discord, I’d suggest asking over there.

Looking for a New freighter. Are people enjoying this in msfs 2024? Love old school flying so this is on my radar.

I love it. Between the newly released -100 and the MD11 I’m in three holer cargo heaven! The -200 is great fun too if you only want the freighter variant.

The Super 27 add-on pack has just been discounted by 30% at Contrail. Is it worth buying for someone who has only the -200F variant?

Definitely. I like the little bit quirky autopilot and FMC in Super27. There’s something new to learn. Actually I prefer this to the classic 727.

Thanks. No issues importing flightplans from Simbrief?

Not at all, it’s pretty straightforward. But I recommend to read the manual first or watch some tutorial on Youtube before diving into it because there are some quirks (by design) in the FMC. Actually the plane has a full VNAV which works pretty well. Have fun!

Any 100 and 200 owners care to sell me on the benefits to paying 45$ for the 100 pack? Currently own 200. Different reverser, engines older, stubbier frame, same cockpit? I want it, trying to justify the cost even w/ discount.

I have the -200 freighter, and the Super 27 expansion (which gives pax liveries as well as cargo, without needing the -200 pax). The -100 is a really hard sell, mostly due to there being no real-world frames left operational. Unless you REALLY want the -100, I’d stick with what you have (or get the Super 27 expansion if you don’t already own it).

Thanks for the information, mate. Have been considering to get it for some time now.

Kind regards.

Personally I loved the real -100 (such a cool looking stubby aircraft) so I bought it pretty quickly. Performance wise it’s quite over powered so the take off and climb is fun.

I recently picked up the passenger variant + super 27. What can I say, really enjoyable aircraft, they have done a good job with this aircraft. It could just do with some more fictional european liveries.

thanks! i did find it so went ahead and deleted my comment.

However one thing i haven’t been able to figure out is how to call the jet bridge instead of stairs? or what about cargo loading equipment?

also when doing an aileron test it looks like the pusher rods for the spoilers come up through the unopened spoilers. is this supposed to happen?

I guess there’s no way how to call a jetway using the clipboard. Only front and rear stairs. I personally use GSX for ground services which does that automatically for me but there are probably some free alternatives that can do that.
