Flightsim.to ATR 72-600 liveries not being picked up by the sim

Hi All,

I’m probably being thick but I have downloaded some liveries for the ATR 72-600; I have put them in the ‘Official\OneStore’ directory and renamed them so they match the ‘microsoft-aircraft-atr-72-600-livery…’ nomenclature but they are not being picked up in the sim. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Unless this is some new installation method I’m aware of that’s not how you install them. If you look at the folder that ‘Official’ is in you should see another one called ‘Community’. Extract your livery there.

The folder structure of your addon should look something like:

D:\MSFS\Community\{addon}\manifest.json

If you can see the ‘manifest.json’ and ‘layout.json’ files at the level in the path I showed above, substituting your MSFS location, then it should work.

I have found the folder and the files are in fact in there ‘LocalCache\Packages\Community’ so that doesn’t appear to be the issue; however (my fault) I have noticed the liveries have not been done for the new Microsoft ATR - that must be the issue…I’ll have to look again for the right model liveries.

So in that case your path would be:

C:\Users\{USERNAME}…\…\…\LocalCache\Packages\Community\{addon_livery}

The dots are there because I can’t remember the full default path But they definitely go in the “Community” folder. The only things that go into “Official\OneStore” are from the Marketplace.
