In msfs2020 you can activate the Flight Simbuilder GNS530 by clicking on the GNS530 in the aircraft while pressing the right ALT key. How do you activate the Flightsimbuilder GNS530 in msfs2024? msfs-2024 Setting fs2020 keyboard settings as default for the keyboard settings of the C172 in FS2024 did not provide a solution. How can I activate the flight simbuilder gns530 with the MS2024 keyboard settings?

Screen pop out’s work for some aircraft in MSFS2024 but not the basic steam gauge 172.
For example pop outs of the GNS530 do work in the DHC-2 Beaver.
This is an issue with the MSFS aircraft code. Asobo have logged the bug for the 172 meaning it’s been confirmed as a bug and they plan to fix it.
The FSB software simply provides a WASM that maps the hardware buttons and knobs to sim events to control the in sim GNS530.

I can confirm this as I also have the FlightSimBuilder GNS530. Additionally, if you use SPAD.Next, there is free “online snippet” which will map all your buttons for you. This will enable you run one less program in the background. Every frame extra helps….

I’m doing the same with Axis and Oh’s. I don’t use the FSB software or wasm.

Problem resolved with Sim Update 1. I can use the GNS530 from Flightsimbuilder with the Cessna 172 now.

Even with Sim Update 1 I cannot pop out the GNS 530 or 430 in the Cessna 172 basic steam gauge airplane.

Not working for me, either. I’ve downloaded the most recent software and flashed the latest firmware. Still doesn’t work for me.
Oddly, I accidentally loaded into the C172 G1000 version and I can pop out the G1000 screen. Just can’t do that with the GNS530 equipped 172.
For whatever bizarre reason, I can apparently no longer activate the GNS in the C172. In the Beaver, for example, it still works.
After the sim update it seemed to work for a while but now it doesn’t work again in the C172. In the Beaver bv the GNS still works. Bizarre.
