Fliying over the sea, no turbulence at all... never!

`Hi, friends. I´m fliying FS2020 from last december. My hub is Madrid Barajas, so I fly a tot of times to Canary islands, to United Kingdom and even from LEMD to KJFK ana back to Madrid. I have fflown in Fs2020 1200 hours. I noticed that nevar, I say never, experimente any kind of turbulence or plan movement al all as soon as fly over the sea. I have flown in the real a lot of times over seas, (I was journalist, a reporter) and many times we “suffer” turbulence over the seas. It seems to me that the turbulence are only limited in the program when you fly over mountain chains.

Any body with the the same or diffferent experience?

Pedro

Buenos noches Pedro,

To be honest, the last time I flew overseas was over a year ago , just after the initial release of this great simulator and live weather was pretty basic at that time.
To be honest, I primarily fly GA aircraft and mainly over land.
I’ll check the state of turbulence later as soon as I fly again.

Thanks for your answer, Goneflying1234. I´m very happy too with the simulator. In mi opión is the best ever I flow, and I´m flying Microsoft Flight Simultaor from Fs3, there in 1987. The first version with live weather was Fs2000, and onward, and I always like to fly with real weather. In my opinion the real weather in Fs2020 is really awasome and impresive. As I love this simulator and I love fly with real weather always, this is reason why I asked about what I considered is a little bug in the weather system of the simulator. Would be nice to have too not only the winds overseas, but son movement when in real weather happens the turbulence circusntances and not only flying over ground and, specially , over mountains.

Muchas gracias!
Pedro

I never noticed. I will look harder now that you mentioned it though. Out of personal experience, the very worst turbulence I ever experienced was flying to Dallas Fort Worth from Puerto Rico. Rodeo from hell. :grimacing::face_with_spiral_eyes::nauseated_face:

So yeah, there should be some kind of noticeable turbulence occasionally. I’d like to hear what other folks have to say.

Yeah, I would be nice that other people check this. For me moment my experience of long time fliying over seas, is that the plane move nothing. Like a train stopped ina station.
