Fly-Elise NG experimental MSFS support

I missed Fly-Elise NG announcing that they have added experimental support for creating blended and warped multi-projector displays with MSFS. It’s got limitations, because the MSFS multi-monitor implementation is limited, and from what I can see it requires even more tweaking than this kind of set-up usually does, but it does work:

Question for the community here: has anyone with a multi-projector setup tried this?

I can’t find any videos using the new software, a few people made multi-projector displays using MSFS + Wideview 2020 + Immersive Display Pro previously, but they were just warping the image from a single view and so have fisheye distortion etc from the limited FOV.

My own projector setup has long since been dismantled. I had planned to build a new one from scratch, but then MSFS came along and I moved over from P3D on a temporary basis at first, but then realised I was going to stick with the platform and that it couldn’t support my existing setup, so I built a new temporary simpit with a single big TV and I disassembled my projector setup (to the point where it can’t be re-assembled). So I can’t test this myself, or else I definitely would.

Even so, I think my next-gen simpit will be multi-TV. Projectors have many drawbacks and while a projector system is fundamentally more immersive, I’ve had a few years with one and I’m not honestly that bothered about going back, except maybe with multiple 4K laser projectors, and I don’t want to re-mortgage my house just now. But it would be awesome to see someone finally making it work properly.

If anyone here has done that, and wants to post pictures or preferably video, I think we’d all be keen to see it, or if you find a resource online that I haven’t managed to, post it here!

Hi there @FlyerOneZero

I have not a multi beamer setup, but like you know i do have multiscreen setup and since last week i purchased wideview and also second licence msfs disc premium de luxe version(still have to configure network properly for this ) but from what i have seen so far it works well for me,
Also used shared cockpit and couple it together with my 2 pc is also seems to work well for me
Maybe even prefered above wideview not sure because of timings and update rate but and different way on hand off maybe, but im quittte optimistic about it.
Im trying, (when i have a bit more time) to run outside view 1 pc on beamer 220 cm curved screen and 2nd pc running with 8 or 9 monitors for cockpit.

For Fly-Elise NG i have no experience nor the space to accomodate this setup
So here i can not share knowledge about

Here you find my recording which show wideview at work without proper network
So you can see for yourself
