Even if the choice of a custom location via GPS coordinates is possible it seems not possible to continue the flight. After having selected “set as arrival” the “Fly Now” field cannot be activated. This is possible if a name is associated with these custom coordinates. I have not found how to define such a name.
Edit - I think I may have misunderstood your question, but this is working for me. I can put in a departure airport, then GPS coords, select that as arrival, and fly there.
Hello,
Thank you for answering. In fact my arrival location is not an airport or a POI both having a name and I want only to fly around this location. It is only a couple (lat, lon) and on the map this couple has the label “custom”.
Best regards
Hello,
Excuse me for having not clear enough. I did not start from an airport: at the very beginning I give the couple (lat, lon) and I set this couple as arrival. It is exactly what I do to visit a POI and it works. The only difference is that the POI is referenced by a name. If in the vicinity of my couple (lat, lon) there is a POI I have to select this POI and it may be OK if not too far from my target. What I wish to do is flying directly around (lat, lon) without any other indication. Perhaps it is not possible ?
Thank you for answering
Best regards
In the case of POI there is no need for starting from an airport and the “Fly” button allows to begin the flight. As it can be seen on custom_2 this button is not active.
Hello,
Thank you very much: it works. It would have been better to keep the same logic as the one for POI because it was confusing. I guess there was a reason for changing this logic ?
Best regards
