Hello community!
I have purchased a few Fly2High airports for MSFS2024 and I absolutely love them. However, I am experiencing something odd with all of them. (KVPS, KRSW, KISP)
When programming a flight in the INIBuilds Airbuses in the MCDU, I select a runway to land on and next pops up the approach page which has none. All it shows is the runway numbers and no approaches (ILS, RNAV, etc). My latest example is below:
I did a quick flight from KCLT to KVPS (Destin, FL) after I bought Fly2High’s VPS scenery. After plugging in my route, I go to program which arrival and approach I will be using. At VPS, they were using runway 20, which is 19 in MSFS2024 assuming because of the runway heading change recently. All I can do it select the runway but no arrival or approach, and upon clicking “INSERT”, it just draws a path from my last fix to a 5 mile final and that waypoint is labeled “CF19”. This is the same with all Fly2High airports.
Has anyone else experienced this? I THINK I installed it correctly but I am unsure. It is in the community folder and the sim recognizes it. Not sure if I did something wrong on the installation or not.
Thank you for your report! The purpose of the Bug Reporting Hub category is to discuss issues that affect the base simulator. If you are having issues with a 3rd party product, please be sure to file a bug report via the developer’s preferred support method.
You can also check out the Discussion Hub > General Discussion sub-categories to see if others have your 3rd party issue to help troubleshoot.
If you believe your issue may be caused by a third-party addon/mod, empty your community folder, restart the simulator and try to reproduce the error.
All issues caused by, or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. All issues related to the core simulator can be reported here on the forum or reported through Zendesk.
I have this same problem with most of the F2H airports. I have Navigraph installed. I have moved the F2H airports and Navigraph to different levels in my Community folder. Nothing works. The only way to get the approach data back is to uninstall the F2H airports. Their artwork and reproduction of airports is truly incredible. I have reached out to them several times. I never received a response. At this point, they have to know they have a problem and choose not to fix it.. I unfortunately will not purchase any more Fly2High products until this simple issue is addressed. This is not sour grapes. This is just me hoping they fix the issue so I can use the awesome looking airports. In the meantime…. caveat emptor
