When I call for pushback the tug connects but aircraft will not move, brakes off of course. Also when I spool up engines aircraft not moving. Have tried new install of all versions with same results, Never had this one before. Anyone any ideas.
Are you using a third party pushback software ie pushback helper? I recommend only using the pushback operation thru the efb in the a32nx dev version. I had the same problem I just stop using the third party plugin.
Deleted the PBH Folder but still same.
If you include “pushback” in your title, you may get more advice
Done that OK
Did you actually click one of the arrows to start moving (back, left, right) after the tug is connected?
Do you use luke air tool (or another app) which has an pushbackhelper integrated and turned on by default that might conflict? I had to turn that off to make the efb pushback working.
I would like to think that you also pushed the backwards arrow on the EFB to make the tug actually push the A/C backwards.
Have done what I always did without problems before, ie. connected tug, released brake and pressed back arrow. Also cannot understand why, when I spool up engines the aircraft does’t move.
I don’t have any third party helpers installed since I deleted PBH.
Baffled!
You have to push ‘shift-p’ (the pushback binding) also. Then the A32NX pushback will work.
I had a similar issue a few days ago.
I discovered that my aircraft was not parked correctly in the allocated spot. And if the aircraft is not in a proper position, the tug will not operate, it will only connect to the aircraft.
I just “slewed” the aircraft into the proper position, and the pushback tug operation went ahead smoothly.
The anomaly for me was, that I chose to start up at the gates (Cold & Dark), and by default, this was the position MSFS placed the aircraft in.
So if you are correct this is a bug in MSFS
I have discovered what was happening. Makes me feel a bit stupid but somehow “Active Pause” was activated. I didn’t do this intentionally and it must have happened at least 6 or 8 times as I rebooted the sim, trying to get to the bottom of the problem. I have no idea how it became activated every time.
Thanks for all help.
Solved!
Good to hear you were able to resolve it. Enjoy flying!
