Flying around Lake Tahoe, CA in the Winter evening as part of the Virtual USA Flying Club The Tahoe 200 Event. Tons of non-Virtual USA Flying Club traffic joined as well. It was awesome to see so many aircraft circling Lake Tahoe 4 times to make around 200nm of travel time. The scenery was amazing, the winds were challenging over the mountains, and the ground speed was fast. Definitely not something I’m used to with sim or real flying but it was nice for a change.
