"Flying music"

As a child of the 80’s, I like some instrumental synthwave for all that electronic goodness.

Shine on you crazy Diamond, Part One, from Pink Floyd’s Wish you were here. At an airshow once in my youth, I watched two motor gliders doing lazy aerobatics to this and I think my whole interest in aviation came from that beautiful aerial ballet. About four minutes in, it goes quiet for a bit and then starts to truck - perfect for the takeoff roll! I used to play it sometimes when flying real gliders, although after that all I had was noisy Rotax engines, which kind of spoiled the mood.

I prefer the white noise calming effects of being in the pilots seat. Tunes in my head keep me going

Go for some Metallica! What is great when driving along the highway is good for flying too. The black Album is still the best.

I listen to either Space Ambient or Goa Trance when I fly. But not always, I also fly without music, depends on my mood.

Ideal when flying but in truth wanting to sail the open seas instead
