Flying the Elbe River in Germany

This weekend we will go back to Cuxhaven where we make a slight turn, crossing the Wadden sea and then follow the Elbe. 1900Z Saturday East US Server
Fun Facts to know about the Elbe:

  • it’s one of Europe’s major rivers with a length of 724 miles starting in the Czech Republic
  • six different rivers flow into the Elbe

We will have the chance to fly under a few bigger power lines and do a sightseeing flight over Hamburg, including the Elbphilarmonie Concert Hall. After leaving Hamburg we will follow the Elbe for a bit more until we turn north towards Luebeck. On our way there we will have a few chances to land at lakes and the coast. In Luebeck we will fly over the old city center before turning for our final landing. This time I recommend the following:

Starting at ETMN (either roll down from the runway or parking position) cruise altitude is 2000ft Starting Server will be East USA, if we experience any problems we’ll switch to SE Asia.
