Flying with ps4 controller. What does your button mapping look like?

A Poor man’s solution. Got myself a dual shock controller. I figure it’s better than the keyboard at least. But I’m not sure what’sa good way to map the controls.

First things first, I recommend downloading this if you haven’t already. This should make it act like an xbox controller, and should have those default button layout

It should Have been apparent, why didn’t I get Xbox controller to begin with

Xbox One controller but they’re all the same with different button names:

Pitch and roll on left sick, look around on right. Throttle on shoulder buttons, A pitch trim nose up, B pitch trim nose down

Brakes are default on Y and target look on X. Y + shoulder for flaps, left sick click for AP disconnect.

I’m on a PS4 controller.

Throttle up - right shoulder.
Throttle down - left shoulder.
Throttle zero - left stick click.
Brakes - Right stick click.
Yoke - right stick.
View panning - left stick.
Rudder - triggers.
Elevator trim - D pad up / down
Flaps - D pad left / right
AP Master - X
Heading hold - square
ALT hold - Triangle
NAV / GPS toggle - Circle
Open ATC window - Select
