Flysimware C414A weight and balance. Is it limited to the included EFB? No pilot/copilot there

Hi. I don’t see a way to add a pilot and copilot. The W/B page of the FSW EFB starts at seats 3 & 4. There’s nothing in the online 414A manual about W/B.

I tried in the default EFB but adding weights seems buggy and impossible. The CGs between the two EFBs do not sync.

Any aircraft that has its own EFB, it’s best to set through that instead of the MSFS EFB, if possible.

Please keep in mind that this model is very likely only reverse compatible in 2024, meaning it is a 2020 model that can be used in 2024 on a limited basis, but that it is not fully compatible with the new 2024 feature set (and EFB). One would not expect EFB interoperability in a model that is not fully compatible with 2024, so perhaps check expectations and use what you can in the provided tablet until a 2024 version is released, if that comes our way someday.

Thanks for the input! Yes I understand the compatibility issue now. It is quite a challenge to make sense of the weight and balance in the flysimware EFB, the actual Chancellor POH and a custom profile in foreflight.

The numbers definitely do not line up. However, in struggling to make sense, I’ve learned so much about W&B that I’m now much better off.

An astonishing amount of configuration and problem solving is required, nothing new there. However with a ridiculous amount of work, you end up with a legitimate flight training platform.

No complaints at all. I have nothing but respect for flysimware and Asobo. Haven’t sim’ed since 2013. What an awesome time to come back!
