1013 millibars are a nice number to remember. But what truly stayed was that automatic weather channel from Flight Simulator 98 or 2000 (don´t remember which one), always saying “two-niner-niner-two” for the QNH when sitting in that Cessna 172 on Meigs Field, and listening to the weather channel to repeat before changing the frequency on the radio.
So it´s always a difficult choice which one to use…
By the way does this iconic weather channel still exists in Flight Sim 2020?
Full release is out on the website folks! Notes below:
v 2.7.0 FULL RELEASE
NEW FEATURES:
The tablet weather page now has a working climate control for the cockpit and cabin. This is a first version for the system and may get updated during the regular updates once out of beta. We will be making a video tutorial on how to use the heat exchangers, air conditioner and heater to maintain the correct temperature throughout the flight.
Click sounds now added to PMS50 GTN750 touchscreen, knobs and buttons. Click sounds added to the A330 transponder.
UPDATES:
Fuel selectors turn off with cold/dark option using the tablet.
Mixture and prop lever controls now start in the off position when loading at ramp or hangar.
The deice for the windshield and working again as Asobo has some bugs and changed the settings without our knowledge. SU10 suppose to fix these bugs.
Overspeed audio warning now warns at 200 Knots indicated.
Fuel page on tablet now shows metric for hybrid sim settings.
“Ready for takeoff” label on the tablet configuration page now says “Start engines”.
We recently removed the nav1 morse code custom code that we included for an Asobo bug where it will not work if i have 3 nav radios on the panels. This did not get fixed from Asobo yet and i have put the custom code back and is now fixed.
Site is back up under a new design and address. However when I go to download the full release version I get told “You have reached the maximum number of downloads allowed”.
One thing that has NOT improved throughout the whole process of the C414 is the ease of being able to download and update the product!!
Seems like a mix bag then with the ease of downloading the updates. This is my third instance of having to contact support and they have been aware of the issue impacting customers.
I have been nothing but impressed with Flysimware and there customer support. Each time i have contacted them i have received a reply and a solution within an hour and this time was no different.
Issue is now resolved and plane is downloading. A fantastic product and one that has been great to watch and enjoy grow from the begging.
Opened my bookmark to the old store which redirected me to the new shop front. Signed in, clicked on orders and there it was. Downloaded easily and installed just as before without the faff of the product key. Odd that some people are having problems with it…fingers crossed you can get it sorted without too much hassle.
One of the best aircraft in the game without doubt!
Clean download here and on the maiden flight now. Only thing with the hybrid setting is that it seeme to simply give a conversion within the EFB. I can live with that though. Otherwise, as enjoyable as ever.
I am not referring to the “mix bag” of download issues from this current version alone. I was referring to the number of issues throughout the cycle of release with downloading and updating the product.
You must have been one of the lucky ones or not on board when they had to change providers due to their download issues being such a cluster? If you read my original post it said “One thing that has not improved throughout the WHOLE process”.
I have had at least four issues with downloading the product over the cycle of development and have all been followed up accordingly by Flysimware hence my post praising their customer service.
The response I got is as follows:
Dear Customer,
This is now reset for everyone for the new store. Sorry for the delay.
Hope this information was helpful. If you have any further issues or our help did not solve the issue please use the reply link below or use our contact form. All messages are saved as a ticked from your email so no need to remind us of our previous messages when replying back!

I was by no means knocking the product itself or Flysimware. I was simply pointing out the download issues that have been common throughout the cycle for customers on this forum thread. I am sorry if this has somehow offended you and others on here for some unknown reason. Guess its the world we live in.
Glad everyone can move forward and continue to enjoy the brilliant product.
You must of not noticed the many issues that were reported. It affected a lot of users especially those not in the US. At one point the download wouldn’t even complete. The new server has helped. 100% it was a mixed bag.
Yes, although in most planes you don’t need to press 1. As soon you have the correct code set, and the transponder is ON or ALT, then the ATC dialogue proceeds automatically.
Looking at it like that perhaps the Piaggio is one of the few that actually works as it should.
One of the major issues with using MSFS for flight training is how easy it is to skip steps. It’s super important to perform all steps when using MSFS for familiarization and practice. @Sling380’s request is that HE wants to enter the transponder code, he doesn’t want any help from anyone for anything. Acknowledging receipt of the code is as important as entering it.
So he’s looking for option, 2. He would always enter his transponder code, and then acknowledge that he received the code. Which I’m 90% is the way it works, since that’s what I do, too.
It only enters the code I believe when you acknowledge receipt of it for any plane. So you can enter the code for any plane is my experience I’m pretty sure. I’m not by my sim to test it at the moment.
