Turbos will maintain manifold Pressure but the prop effectiveness will degrade due to lower air density. The aircraft climb to 180 without changing it’s rate of climb or lowering it’s airspeed.

I mention it in passing, as I have been banging on about it long enough, but there is now a Streamdeck XL profile available on flightsim.to. Not near the PC until tomorrow, so some of you lucky chaps will beat me to it.
I purchased the Cessna 414 directly from flysimware, I am not getting any notification yet when a new update is available…
By chance I read about it here in the forum, what do I have to do that I get a notification, where can I download the update…?

Updates are announced on their discord, to download latest update go on Flysimware website, product page where you purchase login and download the whole package again.

fSW announced they will NOT be e-mailng notice of updates.
You wont get any notifications anymore, I personally dont delete just redownload the Package again install ..updates are not separate all updates are in the new aircraft download.

Edit: Posts below advised to delete old file, before installing new update, I missed that on their website. I will now do that.
I had problems with the ZIP and could not unzip it with Win-RAR, had to use 7-ZIP.
That is, I just have to run the exe. and can install over it…?

Yes just run the exe file. Ensure the path is the same as the original.
It’s better to do so since the installer is a bit dumb, it doesn’t clean up the old install but simply adds its files over the old directory, leaving all files that should be deleted in place.
For 1.5.0 they explicitly said one should uninstall first.

If you go to the Flysimware site and to the Product/User Manual page for the Cessna 414, it will list the latest beta version and when the next beta version is due out. If there’s a new version available, go to the Flysimware store, log into your account and download the aircraft again (it will be the new version). The developer suggests unistalling the old version first, before installing the new one.

Hey FEDEX had a look at the POH for the aircraft and it is a performer.
Figures on the left are for the standard 414 and the right for the RAM which I believe this addon is modelled on.

I accept your point and thanks for you comment.
As a Beta we know that it will have bugs as it goes thru it’s development but, as it is not yet completed, the item regarding circuit breakers could be included in the future, who knows.
I would like to think that probably 90% of people would understand what a Beta is and take that into consideration, I could be being a bit generous as there will always be those grumblers.
Since it was floated there have been numerous updates and the developer has indicated that these would be on going. I check the web site daily.
Having said that it very quickly became my favourite twin.

If you read the install instructions, located in the aircraft folder it says to uninstall the existing version before installing the new version.
The flight model, which WAS perfect upon initial release is still a hot mess even with the cfg- file update → see also their discord.

this link is not running for me…sorry
My MSFS install got corrupted last week so I had to reinstall everything. I went to redownload this aircraft to do a fresh install and the file keeps stopping at around 400mb. I know the file is larger than that and it gives me an error when I try to open it. Anyone else having problems downloading?
